Islamic Law in Iraq?

The irony is simply overwhelming. The U.S. invades a bastion of secularism in the Middle East and successfully enables an Islamic constitution in its "global struggle against Muslim fundamentalism".

delicious irony - almost perfect - an islamic country decides not to have a purely islamic law and a country decrying all attempts at forcing the rule of the shariat aids in the re-drafting of the constitution based on it. would have been perfect if it had been iran and the ayatollah had been reinstated after a revoulution by liberals.
